You don’t have to feel this way anymore.
Together we can work on solutions.
Coping Skills
Life is always throwing us curve balls — it’s how we respond that determines how we feel. We’ll work on practical ways to manage your grief amid the unknown. You’ll learn how to listen to what your body is telling you and feel more confident and at ease in difficult situations.
Relationships
Grief and loss can take the joy out of relationships — both the ones you have with yourself and the ones you have with others. In counseling, you’ll gain new insight into yourself, and your strengths, and feel more connected and engaged with the important people in your life.
New Perspectives
Often it feels like something is wrong with you when you process grief. When in fact, those are experiences from your past. The unhelpful thoughts, behavior patterns, or other things that continue to keep you stuck.
We’ll dive into the cause of your trauma, grief, and loss to help you heal, grow, and find your purpose.
It’s possible to break free of grief and loss.
Together we can discover the courage and strength that’s already within you.

This is based on each person’s individual needs. I have individuals who chose to work with me for as little as three months and for as long as a year. The duration of therapy will always be decided by you. I will give you clear and honest feedback about what to realistically expect based on your goals and personal history.
Yes! Studies have shown that teletherapy has the same results as in-person treatment for both anger, grief, loss, and depression. If you’re like most of my clients, you will love the flexibility that online therapy provides; you can meet with me where you are most comfortable, and never have to worry about sitting in an awkward waiting room, disrupting your work schedule, or commuting to and from sessions.
We will meet weekly for 45 minutes or up to an hour via a 100% private, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Our first few sessions will be about getting to know one another, understanding the challenges you’re facing, and making sure you feel comfortable. From there will develop a “treatment plan” (a formal way of saying “what your goals are and how we will reach them.”) That plan will act as a roadmap for your therapy, but sessions aren’t overly structured – if you encounter something specific that week, we’ll unpack it together.
….. And any other life changes that deserve time, compassion, and support to work through.
You shouldn’t have to apologize for your grief.
The loss you’ve experienced — whether from the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, infertility, job changes, a life transition, or something else — deserves a space to work through … a place where you don’t have to hide what you are feeling for the comfort of others or because you “should” be “over it” by now.
